1979Born in Tokyo.
2001Earns Graduate Gemologist Diploma at the Gemological Institute of America (GIA)
2009Wins the Excellence and the Platinum Guild International Prize in the Japan Jewellery Association (JJA)’s Design Awards 2009.
2009Releases private collection ADAMANT.
2010Qualified by the JJA as a Jewellery Coordinator.
2011Wins the Governor of Tokyo Metropolitan Government Prize and the Platinum Guild International Prize in the JJA Design Awards 2011.
2013Wins the Japan Jewellery Grand Prize and Minister of Economy, Trade and Industry Prize in the JJA Design Awards 2013.
2015Participates in the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair.

Placing his original jewellery works on show at exhibitions, including solo shows, and at major department stores and specialty stores, Takeshi Kaji is an up-and-coming jewellery designer who is active nationwide.
